We now have a new Inform Mobile SDK (version 2.x) available for clients. The Inform SDK currently supports: - Native Android - latest version: v2.0.3 - Native iOS - latest version: v2.0.1 - React Native - latest version: v2.0.1 - Cordova - latest version: v2.0.0 You can learn more about upgrading to the Inform SDK on our [help site](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/using-the-inform-mobile-sdk). ## Am I Affected? > ⚠️ If you are currently using the Google Fit SDK integration, or plan to use the Google Fit SDK integration, please note that Google is sunsetting that integration option in favor of Android Health Connect. > ⚠️ > ⚠️ The Android Health Connect integration is available in the new Inform SDKs and you will need to [migrate to the Health Connect integration](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/native-android-mobile-inform-sdk-migrating-users-from-google-fit-sdk-to-health-connect) so that your users can complete their migration of data to Health Connect without any downtime. Any Inform clients who use the Validic Mobile SDKs will be able to upgrade to the Inform SDKs. Please note, there is no deprecation date set for the existing Validic Mobile v1.x SDKs at this time, but we are working towards depreciation of the v1. SDKs. When we do set a deprecation date you will have plenty of notice in order to make use of the new v2.x SDKs. However, our goal is to add new features to the v2.x SDKs will make you want to switch over and start using them soon. ## What Changes Are Coming? The new v2.x SDKs have several key changes in them from the v1.x SDK. Please review the [Android Migration Guide](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/native-android-mobile-inform-migration-guide) and [iOS Migration Guide](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/native-ios-mobile-inform-migration-guide) for important notes on the changes we’ve made. If you’re using [Cordova](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/cordova-inform-migration-guide) or [React Native](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/react-native-mobile-inform-migration-guide) we have guides for those as well. Also, please note that so far we have two new integrations available in the v2.x SDKs, which are not available in the v1.x SDK: - **Android Health Connect** (replaces Google Fit SDK integration) - Omron BP7255 Blood Pressure Monitor (Bluetooth) We plan to add many more new integrations and features to the v2.x SDKs over the coming months so start planning now for your migration to the new SDKs. ## What To Expect? The Inform v2.x SDKs have several key changes in them from the v1.x SDK. Please review the [Android Migration Guide](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/native-android-mobile-inform-migration-guide) and [iOS Migration Guide](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/native-ios-mobile-inform-migration-guide) for important notes on the changes we’ve made. If you’re using [Cordova](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/cordova-inform-migration-guide) or [React Native](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/react-native-mobile-inform-migration-guide) we have guides for those as well. We will continue adding more integrations and features to the Inform SDKs over time and eventually sunset the v1.x SDKs. An exact timeline for sunsetting the v1.x SDK is not yet finalized, but we’ll make sure you have plenty of time to migrate (though with all the cool new stuff you probably won’t want to wait!). ## What Do I Need To Do? Learn more about upgrading to the Inform SDK on our [help site](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/using-the-inform-mobile-sdk). Plan to [migrate](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/migrating-from-v1-to-inform-sdk) and test using a pre-production app and environment. If you’re using Google Fit, then you must transition from the Google Fit integration in the v1.x SDK to the Health Connect integration in the Inform SDK. > ⚠️ If you are integrated to Google Fit, you will also need to review the migration guide for [migrating from Google Fit to Android Health Connect](https://helpdocs.validic.com/docs/native-android-mobile-inform-sdk-migrating-users-from-google-fit-sdk-to-health-connect). **Users must to take action to sync their data into Health Connect. **Make sure you are planning accordingly to communicate with your users and help them transition to Health Connect.
